Storage Administrator

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Participation in the conception and planning of distributed storage systems
• Supporting the local teams at the University of Innsbruck in the procurement and implementation of storage systems
• Participation in the development and documentation of a common, cross-university operating concept
• Project work and further training

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. Specialised A-Level-Diploma with specialist knowledge or relevant professional experience)
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in dealing with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Experience in the development, operation and administration of IT systems
• Fluent written and spoken German; good knowledge of English; good teamwork and communication skills
• Independent and structured working style with a high willingness to learn and develop further
• Interest in new areas of responsibility and technologies
• High level of reliability

For this position in job group IVa, a minimum gross salary of € 3.390 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
