University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Sports management; subject area: sports participation and sports club research (sports club and association development); independent research in the field of sports management
• Independent teaching in the field of sports management
• Participation in the assessment of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Participation in conferences, congresses and specialised training courses
• Participation in the administration of the department; participation in the organisation of scientific conferences (in particular ESEA Congress 2025)

Your profile:

• Relevantly completed diploma/master's degree programme
• Sound knowledge in the field of association development
• Experience in the realisation of projects (e.g. Conferences)
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel) and statistics programmes (SPSS, jamovi, R)
• knowledge of English
• Ability to work in a team with project groups
• Creative problem-solving skills
