University Assistant (PhD position)
Start date/duration:

Administrative unit:
- Department of Public Law and Political and Administrative Sciences
Extent of employment:
- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Dissertation in the field of administrative law (public commercial law)
- Independent research in the field of public law incl. Public commercial law
- Intensification of teaching and research activities in public law, including public commercial law
- Involvement in maintaining and expanding the Institute's expertise in commercial law
- In the course of time, start of independent publication activities
- Independent teaching
- Training and further education
- Involvement in administration
Your profile:
- Completed subject-relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree
- Very good knowledge of Austrian public law with above-average grades, especially in administrative law
- Precision; systematic thinking; ability to work in a team
- Excellent knowledge of German
- Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.789 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.683 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
