As Façade Engineer (f/m/d) in Back Office you will be responsible for creating excellent and competitive engineering façade designs via drafting, structural calculations and consulting of external stakeholders (e.g. salespeople & customers). Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems such as Pipe clamps and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation, we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market. - Daily interaction with salespeople, contractors, designers, specifiers, or on-site civil engineers
- Competent written communication with customers; such communication must be technically accurate
- Provide technical information of applications and product limitations using your engineering judgment
- Review project specifications or calculations
- Utilizing software provided by Hilti for creating and designing competitive ventilated façade drawings
- Understand construction methods and local building code
- Visit jobsites - if needed - to assess application problems and provide technical consulting

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s or HTL Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering required; Master’s degree (technical or business) preferred
- Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and other CAD systems
- Experience with BIM is a plus
- Basic understanding of static analyses and ability to explain results to our customers
- Knowledge of construction methods and practices preferred
- 2 years minimum experience in engineering/construction role preferred
- Fluent in spoken and written English is mandatory, German is preferred as well

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group III which states a monthly gross minimum salary of € 2.373,95 for a full-time position (38,5h/week). But we will offer you a salary package highly above the collective agreement salary, starting with a minimum annual gross salary of € 42.500 (incl. 13th, 14th, and bonus payment). Compensation is, of course, based on your individual qualifications and position relevant professional experience.
