The Solution Engineer is the technical expert who supports the global sales team in defining the right technical solution for the customer and creates the corresponding technical offer based on AVL and third party products/services. The area of expertise primarily includes test solutions for automotive electrification components focusing on battery systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the customer and sales department to create solutions/quotes that include a package of products and services
• Support sales department in the sales phase to define optimal solutions as well as in customer surveys, risk analysis, presentations and negotiations
• Perform overall risk analysis
• Ensure accurate costing
• Preparation and visualization of an overall solution proposal, which is tailored to the customer's needs
• Supporting affiliates with new customer opportunities
• Maintaining a high level of customer and application focus

YOUR PROFILE:

•  Graduate of a secondary technical college with specialization in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• 3 years of work experience in a similar position preferred 
• Experience in power electronics with focus on Li-Ion batteries
• Knowledge in measurement methods
• A high level of customer and application orientation
• Good comprehension skills as well as structured, precise and reliable way of working
• Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €50.400,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
