Working Student with focus on toolchain development for image processing f/m/d  in Steyr

Are you currently studying in the technical field and would like to gain your first practical experience? Then you are the right person for us! For our location in Steyr we are looking for a committed working student for 15 to 20 hours per week starting in September.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Together with your colleagues, you will develop an automated toolchain for the training and deployment of image processing algorithms.
• Supporting the further development of the existing off-road environment simulation and creation of interfaces for pre-training and testing of the algorithms in simulation is also part of your daily work.
• Your support is also needed for field research and identification of state-of-the-art tools and applications.
• You will assist in analyzing the deployment of the algorithms on embedded devices.
• Supporting the preparation of results and documentation is also part of your tasks. (The results can be used for own bachelor or master thesis).
• Furthermore, you will collaborate in publications.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You are currently studying successfully at a TU/FH in the field of software engineering, automation engineering or similar.
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge in the areas machine vision, CI/CD and simulation environments.
• Knowledge of the following tools is beneficial: C++, Python, Linux, ROS, Nvidia TAO, Carla (Unreal Engine), Docker, git, Jira
• You are enthusiastic and interested in participating in the development of future technologies.
• On top you have a good command of English.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €35.926,38. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
