What's the role?

As student worker in our Sustainability team, you will be a part of the core function that drives the realization of Hilti’s sustainability strategy for the Ventilated Façade products and on-site initiatives. This job indicates a minimum of 20h/week for at least 6 months.

Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems such as Pipe clamps and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation, we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market. What does the role involve?

  • Manage employee engagement and support our international & national corporate responsibility program “Engagement Beyond Business”
  • Support in the creation of Environmental Product Declarations for our portfolio
  • Bring in ideas on how to foster sustainability on-site into the day-to-day business
  • Support in monitoring sustainability KPIs and help to implement sustainability in the way of working
  • Research on Green Building Schemes and upcoming regulations

What you need is:

  • Ongoing studies in the field of technology or economics - preferably, Master studies in sustainability management or environmental studies
  • Preferably first working experience in corporate environment combined with experience in project and stakeholder management
  • Capability to interact with multiple stakeholders on global/regional level
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to cross-functional team members
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is mandatory, German is a plus
  • Strong interest in Sustainability merged with a business acumen

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group III which states a monthly minimum salary of € 2.373,95 for a full-time position (38,5h/week). For a part-time job there is a corresponding aliquot payment.
