Are you interested to experience and shape the transformation of the automotive mobility sector towards a low-carbon, and sustainable future? YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will support our team in internal, national and European research projects involving all kinds of powertrain technologies for all transport modes.
• Multiple research activities about sustainability aspects like e.g. life cycle analysis, product environmental footprint, circular economy, digital product passports will also be part of your daily work.
• Together with the team you will research and build-up know-how on cradle-to-cradle, covering all life cycle phases and the entire value chain from raw materials through production, use-phase, to recycling.
• Supporting our team in performing life cycle analysis (LCA) by researching and collecting input parameters, SW modelling, performing sensibility studies will be another task of your work.
• Moreover, you will assist in performing studies on all kinds of sustainability aspects.
• Together with your colleagues you will create documentation and presentation of the results.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You are currently in your master studies in technical or natural science (environmental, systems, chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar).
• Your passion for sustainable transportation gives you a fundamental understanding of automotive powertrains and value chains, as well as environmental assessments.
• Your interested, committed, independent and team-oriented personality is what makes you stand out.
• Through your accurate working style, you possess highly developed quality awareness with strong attention to details.
• With your fluent English and basic German skills, you are prepared for a successful start at AVL.
• Furthermore, you are very familiar with MS Office and internet research.
• Your excellent communication skills and your reliable and responsible personality round out your profile.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €35,926.38. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
