AVL List GmbH offers a job in Austria (AT) as

• Collaboration on exciting and innovative projects for prototypes up to series production vehicles
• Support of experienced design engineers in the processing of tasks and projects.
• Deployment as required in transmission or axle development as well as vehicle integration tasks for tractors, trucks, buses, construction machinery or municipal vehicles.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptual design and detailed engineering of powertrains or complete vehicles (3D)
• Derivation of standard-compliant manufacturing drawings (2D)
• Search and implementation of robust, reliable technical solutions
• Clarification and selection of manufacturing technologies
• Carrying out rough calculations and material selection
• Implementation of change management and maintenance of parts lists
• Supplier clarifications of purchased parts
• Internal documentation (component specifications, reports)
• Support in patent investigations  
• Collaboration in prototype construction and support of test bench activities
• Responsibility for the quality of component design and application of standards and norms
• Responsibility for the adherence to the development processes and the process-compliant use of tools and methods (PDM, CAD, ...)

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed technical education (Secondary technical college (HTL) or Apprenticeship with School leaving examination (Matura))
• First experience in powertrain or complete vehicle development (e.g. internships) advantageous
• Knowledge in casting, forging and gear design or sheet metal or free-form surface design (plastics) desirable
• Knowledge of hydraulics & mechatronics advantageous
• CAD knowledge (main CAD systems: CREO, NX, CATIA)
• Systematic, independent and self-reliant work is required
• Good written and spoken German and English or the willingness to improve language skills
• Willingness to travel on a small scale

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €41,440.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
