To strengthen our new, highly innovative commercial vehicle development team in Steyr, we are seeking a development engineer for the area of complete vehicle architecture. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of innovative concepts for vehicles with established as well as future drive technologies, such as hydrogen-powered and battery-electric drives
• Definition of requirements, resolution of conflicting goals at the overall vehicle level
• Sub-system integration into the overall vehicle
• Supporting the validation of vehicles on the test bench and on the road
• Independent prioritization of tasks
• Definition and optimization of development strategies, test or validation plans
• Communication and representation of AVL's technical competence to the outside world
• Ensuring cooperation within the AVL Group

YOUR PROFILE:

• Enthusiasm for commercial vehicles and for technical innovation
• Engineer/technician in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering/vehicle construction or comparable
  qualification/experience
• Several years of professional experience in the field of vehicle development
• Industry experience in the field of vehicle construction, commercial vehicle industry
• Interest in working with international teams
• Fluent Business English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €60,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
