YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-development and product development in the area of model-based control of innovative power electronic systems for the AVL electrification test systems (Battery Cell Testers, Battery Pack Tester / Emulator)
• Development and implementation of control algorithms for power electronic converters in FPGA
• Controller validation on FPGA / SoC platforms with HIL set-ups and real HW 
• Member of an interdisciplinary and international team related to real-time control and communication functions
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of work according to the relevant guidelines and processes
• Providing appropriate and relevant technical guidance to the project management as and when required

YOUR PROFILE:

• Masters in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Control Engineering with relevant industrial experience.
• Two years of professional experience
• Practical experience in at least one of these fields:
• Isolating and Non-Isolating DC/DC converters
• Rapid Control Prototyping on FPGA based platforms
• Matlab control models based on generic libraries and product based revision management 
• Matlab/Simulink Code Generation Toolchain for FPGA
• Embedded control for power electronics (sampling and synchronization with PWM, phase-shift control of DC/DC converters, …  ) 
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS
• Decent knowledge of Xilinx FPGAs and/or TI DSPs

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49.000,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
