System Designer Software / Automation Engineer f/m/d

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develop automation applications for combustion engine, e-motor, battery, inverter, fuel cell, components, virtual test systems
  • Live all phases of application development: 
    •    Planning: Requirements engineering, application specification, functional descriptions, test case and final acceptance criteria definition 
    •    Creating: Implementation of applications
    •    Testing: Application validation in virtual environments 
    •    Deploying: Application commissioning and final acceptance support
  • Continuous collaboration and alignment with other engineering disciplines in the global community
  • Support efficient and harmonized commissioning by verifying the software configuration, defining the commissioning process, preparing all commissioning relevant data and providing second level support
  • Support global sales team and perform concept engineering and effort estimations for fulfilling customer requirements
  • Consult and support customers with AVL automation systems on test field related matters, focusing on IT, functionality, migration and efficiency topics
  • Conduct trainings for internal and external participants
  • Support and troubleshoot complex systems at customer sites

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Completed studies (FH/TU/HTL) in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or communication technology 
  • Experience in automation software development (scripting and programming)
  • High customer and application orientation
  • Systematic and analytical way of working
  • Good comprehension and system understanding
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €46,410.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
