In the role of a prototype buyer you are the central interface between suppliers, development and purchasing organization. You coordinate the tender documents in coordination with development and prototype construction.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requesting capacities from potential suppliers in the project, scheduling feasibility checks
• Evaluation and elaboration of supplier nomination in the project based on the criteria cost, delivery time, quality
• Creation of commercial framework conditions for external contract awards in terms of the AVL purchasing process (contracting)
• Planning and monitoring of procurement times for the procurement scope (back scheduling, coordination, monitoring of supplier feedback)
• Ensuring operational order processing as well as documentation of objective order placement and archiving in the system
• Proactive information in the projects in case of schedule changes as well as initiation of measures and escalation if necessary
• Complaint handling including closing activities in case of complaints from purchasing point of view (debit notes, credit notes etc.)
• Continuous assurance of data quality in the project in the purchasing systems (SAP, SRM)
   

YOUR PROFILE:

• HAK/HTL degree with several years of experience in purchasing and/or logistics or completed, technical, technical-commercial or commercial studies (FH, TU, University)
• Good technical understanding, openness for dynamic technical requirements
• Experience with material management systems and processes in an industrial environment (SAP)
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken (min. B2 level)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €46.410,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
