As the area of cyber security is a very quick evolving topic there are currently different standard and regulations in development that define a set of requirements in the area of automotive security. Relevant standards and regulations are, among others, ISO 21434, ISO 24089, UNECE R155, UNECE R156. For car manufactures and suppliers it is essential to understand which requirements ae existing and defined and how they are interconnected.
 

TASK:

• Identify standards and regulation in the area of automotive security 
• Describe the relationship between the standards and regulations 
• Extract relevant requirements 
• Define a meta model for structuring, linking and combining the different requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experiences with Information Security Standards like IS 27001 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Knowledge in automotive security a plus

PREFERRED FIELD OF STUDY:

• Informatics/Computer Science 
• IT / Information Security

The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of EUR €1,700.00 before tax.
