Organizational Setting
The Director General's Office (DGO) provides leadership and coordination for all IAEA activities at the executive level for meeting Member States' needs, and achieving a one-house approach and a results-based management.
Main Purpose
The IAEA Ethics function, which reports directly to the Director General was established to assist the Director General in ensuring that all staff observe and perform their functions consistent with the highest standards of integrity by fostering a culture of ethics, transparency and accountability. The Chief of Ethics is responsible for the IAEA Ethics function.
To assist the Chief of Ethics with activities of the Ethics function, including developing awareness raising materials and conducting research and drafting related to enhancements to the IAEA ethics framework.
Functions / Key Results Expected
Assist the Chief of Ethics with research and drafting on issues relating to the Standards of Conduct for the International Civil Service;
Assist with the management and enhancement of the Ethics intranet;
Support in development and delivery of innovative awareness-raising and training programmes.
