The Kearney part-time Student Consultant program is an outstanding introduction to the discipline of management consulting and is designed for students with work experience acquired during internships.
What you can expect
·As a part-time Student Consultant, you learn to apply the fundamentals of management consulting in order to identify, analyze and solve business problems across a wide range of industries.
·You are a full member of the consulting team and play an integral part in the projects to which you are assigned.
·As a part-time Student Consultant, you develop models, perform complex analyses and work on research assignments in your home office or in one of our offices close to your hometown.
·Part-time Student Consultants are paired with Kearney consultants, who serve as mentors, offer guidance, and stay actively involved with the part-time Student Consultant and their project managers throughout the period of employment.
·At the end of your time as a part-time Student Consultant, you will receive a detailed evaluation of your performance and feedback from your project manager.
What we seek
·The position of part-time Student Consultant is open to students currently in semester 4 or higher of a university bachelor’s degree or doing a master’s degree with more than 12 months left until graduation.
·We are open to applicants with a business or STEM background.
·Excellent high school and university grades.
·Part-time Student Consultants should preferably have held two or three relevant internships within different companies and industries.
·International experience (work or study)
·An innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving combined with strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
·Applicants who are comfortable working in a team-based environment—even when working remotely.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
·Part-time Student Consultants should be available between 15 and 20 hours per week during semester and, if possible, and depending on our needs, for more hours during semester break.
· Ideally, part-time Student Consultants should be seeking employment lasting one year or longer.
