Job description
The
Junior Talent Program (JTP) is an Austrian
trainee program and
promoting instrument for
young talents , which offers university graduates attractive entry opportunities, individual competence development, as well as high-quality support and supervision.
During this Junior Talent Program, you will work within our
Automotive Technical Marketing Team , where we define and realize
leading edge magnetic sensing solutions in diverse applications, ranging from the automotive to the consumer market.
Your program can consist of the following elements:
Magnetic and mechanical design of advanced sensing solution using state-of-the-art 3D FEM simulators Characterization of new sensor technologies in our dedicated lab Development of reference design for magnetic sensing in power conversion applications Competitor analysis and reverse engineering for automotive and industrial applications You will have the opportunity to discover and practice several professional profiles that are at the forefront of our development and customer interaction, from product definition engineering to system application engineering.
Joining the JTP will give you the big picture of Infineon: Our junior talents are prepared for taking on complex target functions by means of
tailor-made job rotations , regular feedback loops, trainings, as well as joint networking. Over the course of
24 months , you have
at least three different assignments . By working in different departments, you can get an idea of what suits you best. From the beginning, you’ll have a chance to roll up your sleeves and take on challenging tasks. Besides that, you have the opportunity to build strong relationships across sites, functions and departments, and to meet the JTP community face to face and at virtual conferences.
This position is temporary: the duration of the Junior Talent Program is 24 months, including 3-4 job rotations.

You are best equipped for this taks if you have:
University degree (Master) in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics / Physics or comparable Solid knowledge of most common programming language (C / Python), knowledge of basic electronics , microcontroller and FPGA programming as a plus First experience with mainstream simulation tools , like Matlab and Ansys as a plus First experience on hardware , like PCB design or common development platforms , such as Arduino as a plus First experience in the design or test of mechatronics systems as a plus Fluent English skills, German as a plus If this is you, then we want to make it easy for you to apply: All we need is your CV and your relevant certificates, such as your final university degree or your most recent university transcripts. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
