Job Duties:
Conduct independent research activities in the field of synthesis and characterizing environmentally friendly and sustainable functional polymers for future application in one or more of the following areas medicine and pharmaceuticals cosmetics and washing agents chemical analysis and/or catalysis data storage Actively take part in parallel research projects at the institute Hold courses as outlined in the institute's academic curriculum Supervise dissertations in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs Provide support to manage the institute’s general administration activities Your Qualifications:
The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in chemistry, technical chemistry, polymer chemistry or chemical engineering Possess an interest in the synthesis of monomers and polymers Willingness to publish research findings in scientific journals Strong language skills in English, both oral and written (level B2+); German language skills are desired (level B1) but not required A substantial level of commitment and creativity Social skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer:
