Student Trainee Software Development f/m/d in Graz

AVL is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines and their integration into the vehicle.

You will strenghten the FAME pre-processing development team in Graz, engaging in the validation of third-party software components as well as in software development tasks.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement and maintain frontend GUI development
• Execute tests, systematic test and debugging at component and system level
• Code review and analyze code base for stability and efficiency
• Support new architecture approaches for Azure Cloud migration

YOUR PROFILE:

• Student in computer engineering, information technology or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Python and C++
• Knowledge of source code management systems, e.g. GIT/Gerrit
• Insight in both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Interest in Docker/Kubernetes technologies

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €29,841.14. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
