To enhance our successful OT Applications Team in Leoben, Austria, we are looking for a passionateManufacturing Execution Systems EngineerIn your role, you will act as a key Specialist for OT BUILD MES, ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing IT systems. You will provide expert support in implementing, customizing, and maintaining hardware and software solutions within the MES environment. By collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of domain strategies, optimize system performance, and ensure the seamless integration of IT solutions in line with business objectives. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting complex issues, driving innovation, and maintaining high-quality, sustainable IT solutions.

Your ResponsibilitiesEngage with key users to understand business needs, challenges, and goalsContribute to the development of domain strategies, roadmaps, and processesDefine and document domain-specific processes, policies, and standardsSupport and contribute to IT projects and domain initiatives from planning to executionCustomize and continuously enhance MES systems based on user and business requirementsDeliver technical support and conduct training for key users and stakeholdersAnalyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutionsEnsure continuous improvement and cost-efficient, sustainable system designYour ProfileBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field with at least 3 years of relevant experienceStrong experience with MES systems and L3 integration in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Critical Manufacturing MES (certification is an advantage)Basic understanding in TypeScript and C# and good knowledge of T-SQLFamiliarity with agile software development methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsExcellent communication skills in EnglishTeam player with intercultural competence and experience in international collaborationOur OfferA meaningful role with opportunities for long-term growth in an international environment Chance to actively contribute to AT&S success and to create value A structured and tailor-made onboarding program along with continual training opportunitiesModern company canteen with freshly prepared meals every dayFree parking spaces and e-charging stationsDiverse health measures and a wide range of employee benefitsReady for a new challenge to advance your career?
