At the Institute of Telecooperation, we conduct research on innovative concepts and technologies for distributed, mobile, and collaborative systems. Job Duties:

• Conduct independent scientific research with the goal of completing a doctoral dissertation (PhD)
• Participate in national and international research project of the Institute and contribute to scientific publications
• Teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs, including examination activities (teaching obligation for candidates holding a Diploma-/ Master's degree: 2 semester hours per week)
• Contribute to the organizational and administrative activities of the institute

Your Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a completed Diploma-/ Master's degree in Computer Science from a national or international university, or an equivalent qualification. Please include your Master's thesis and, where applicable, any other relevant scientific publications with your application
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Java programming, distributed systems, collaborative systems, and mobile computing
• Interests in academic research and ideally some experience in scientific work
• Excellent proficiency in English languages, both written and spoken (minimum level C1)
• Very good proficiency in German languages, both written and spoken (minimum level B2), or willingness to acquire this level within 2 years; required for teaching the courses in German
• Ability to work independently, think critically, and contribute to the development of innovative research methods
• Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a high level of commitment
• High sense of responsibility and scientific integrity
