Junior UX Designer in Vienna

4 - 40 Stunden pro Woche

Jobbeschreibung

Job Description

  • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to identify opportunities for improving the user interface of existing products. You’ll work with another designer who will give you just the right amount of support you need.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes for new features that meet customer needs.
  • Be an active participant in design review sessions, offering constructive, respectful feedback for everyone on the design team – including leadership.
  • Use the design patterns in our Figma-based design system and offer suggestions for updates when existing design patterns won’t work.
  • Qualifications

  • You have an interest in working in the technology field, particularly software testing.
  • You excel in learning new complicated topics, as you’re intellectually curious by nature.
  • You believe that a good, clean, easy-to-use design is pivotal to opening up the tech field to more people.
  • You have a definite point of view and aren’t shy about sharing it, but will change course when faced with objective data.
  • You’re friendly, approachable and able to synthesize multiple viewpoints to make a single optimal design. People want to work with you because they can freely contribute ideas and because you are fun to work with.
  • You view constructive feedback as a gift from others and you actively seek it out so that you can change designs in order to provide maximum value to users.
  • Your first three months with us:

  • Month 1: You’ll be in “listen and learn” mode. You’ll meet with many people throughout the company to better understand company culture. You’ll also use our products and get up to speed on the current design system.

  • Month 2: You’ll work with a more experienced designer on at least two projects. One project will entail working on a new feature and the other will entail working on reviewing an existing project and recommending small improvements to the Product Manager of that product.

  • Month 3: You’ll lead your own project, but still have the support of the design team when needed.
