What's the role?

We are looking for a Technical Data Manager (f/m/d) for Codes and Approval in the construction industry for our ventilated Façade Engineering Team. As Codes & Approval Expert (f/m/d) you will be part of our multinational Engineering Team located in Lanzenkirchen near Vienna. You will support the Team by extending the product differentiation of our ventilated façade portfolio through innovations, building codework, approvals and technical consulting according to Hilti AG standards.

What does the role involve?

As Codes & Approval Expert (f/m/d) you're the one who is responsible for attaining and maintaining relevant national and international approvals and certificates for our ventilated façade portfolio. In addition, you will create, release and store local technical data for ventilated façade systems based on global data in line with local needs and practices. Specific responsibilities include the protection of Hilti from liability by ensuring compliance standards with regulatory requirements. In your role, you will also support Hilti in international and national building codework to reflect the capabilities of the ventilated façade portfolio. You will be also responsible for assisting the organization in leveraging opportunities and threats related to existing and new code and regulation requirements. In line with the team, you will be the driving force to derive and address innovative hardware and software solutions from our strategic and day-to-day activities.

What you need is:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Proven work experience in product compliance assessment and product testing
  • Strong knowledge of local and international building codes and approvals preferred
  • General knowledge and understanding of Product Approvals
  • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software preferred
  • Effective teamplay, resilient and self-driven workstyle, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Excellent communication skills and high customer focus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is mandatory, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group III which states a minimum salary of € 2.138,66 per month - gross (in Austria it is legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary). Based on your individual professional skills and know-how and previous experience, we are willing to negotiate and offer an attractive performance-oriented remuneration package highly above the minimum salary.
