Job description
Our Application Engineering Laboratory delivers state of the art measurements and characterizations of our magnetic speed and current sensor to continuously support our business at global customers and to prepare the definition of the next generation products.
Your Responsibilities:
Support the Infineon magnetic sensors application engineering team with electromagnetic FEM simulations Prepare and run magnetic simulation models in ANSYS Maxwell Run parametric simulations and assess impact of parameter variations on the sensor behavior Prepare technical documentation for internal and external peers Further information Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time
Start: April 2021
Duration: min. 12 months
Your profile You are best equipped for this position if you are a proactive person, you are learning quickly and you are very motivated to work independently.
You will successfully meet the requirements if you:
Studying electrical engineering, computer science, physics or similar Handling of common tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Scripting Skills in Python or Matlab , Spatial & analytical thinking and knowledge of mathematical fundamentals (vector calculus, matrix operations) Excellent English and preferably good German skills First experience with FEM modelling tools (e.g. ANSYS Electronics Desktop) and or CAD tools as a plus This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. Bachelor students receive a compensation of
1.914,45 Euro gross p.m. (Full-time basis for Bachelor students) and Master students receive a compensation of
2.242,19 Euro gross p.m. (Full time basis for Master students).
