Your Responsibilities: - Creation, validation and maintenance of basic software for embedded Linux systems
- Implementation in C/C++ and Python on modern and powerful controller architectures for AVL measurement instruments
- Review, implementation and testing of software modules
- Support in the analysis of customer tasks and their solutions
- Close communication with device software developers as internal customers
- System configuration and integration of embedded Linux systems
- Specification, architecture and design of basic software for embedded Linux systems (applies to senior position only)
- Requirements analysis and technical preparation of internal customer inquiries (applies to senior position only)
Your Profile: - Sound technical education (secondary technical college, university of applied sciences, university) in the fields of embedded software development, software engineering, electronics, telematics, automation technology or similar
- (Several years of) professional experience in software development based on Embedded Linux and in device development
- Very good knowledge in low-level software programming in C and C++
- Experience with U-Boot, Linux Kernel and the Yocto Project an advantage
- Open for agile development methods
- Pronounced customer and team orientation and quality awareness
- Analytical, innovative and solution-oriented approach to work
- Self-directed and structured working style
Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR39,000 (for Senior EUR 47,000). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
