Master Data Specialist - SAP (Full-time)

Your Tasks
Job Purpose:
As part of the SAP Master Data Team, the Specialist will manage workflow and respond to requests for additions and changes to master data. Create and maintain master data objects specific to a work group. Troubleshoot master data issues. Act as a technical resource of other SAP users and management staff.
Day-to-Day Role:
- Assist in gathering, validating and translating business requirements into cohesive, integrated, and optimized SAP specifications
- Accurately maintain data within the outlined workflow process
- Enforce established data standards, guidelines, and change management processes
- Support the development of training content for business users and provide functional support to users of modules
- Help to develop training programs associated with assigned responsibilities and projects
- Administer assigned components of systems, programs and processes according to established policies, procedures and/or laws
- Develop a proficiency and understanding of Company systems in order to effectively support department functions
- Assist in the coordination of new product rollouts and ensure completion in a timely manner
- Respond to requests for data and workflow reports utilizing reporting tools
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify transactional trends, reconcile, and propose solutions
- Generate and analyze reports on a wide variety of issues throughout the company to assist management with decision-making
- Recommend improvements to workflow processes and procedures
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
Your Profile
Core Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive SAP Master Data experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
- Proven analytical problem solver
- Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Microsoft Word skills to include the ability to create reports containing graphs and other intermediate functions
- Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the big picture
- Ability to effectively present to an audience
- Ability to streamline processes, integrate, and associate pieces of information gathered from multiple sources and apply to projects
- Ability to maintain composure when faced with stressful situations
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field of study
- 5 years SAP experience
- Experience with manufacturing OEE, Lean Six Sigma methodologies
