Sales Order & Transport Planner (Full-time) in point

Your Tasks

Job Purpose:

Review incoming demands from customers and make sure demands of customers can be realized. Set-up alternative schedules together with planner of the customer when bottleneck or capacity constraints occur.  Maintain SAP to make sure that customer call-offs are reflected correctly in the system.
Setting-up all outgoing shipments towards customers. Single point of contact for customers and suppliers in determining the required amount of returnable containers.

Primary duties:

• Set up communication methods with new and existing customers;
• Set-up and maintain all delivery relevant parameters into SAP: shipping conditions, contracts, etc.;
• Responsible for forecasting into SAP for long-term planning purposes;
• Make sure that incoming call-offs are received correctly via either EDI or E-mail;
• Update the internet portals of the customers for both the Sales order planning as well as the container mgt side;
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with customers’planners;
• Develop an understanding of customers’needs, and take actions to ensure that these needs are met;
• Review delivery performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements;
• Discuss returnable container needs with Container analyst and order these demands at the customer;
• Plan outgoing shipments.

• Extensive experience in Logistics.

Your Profile

Education and/or Experience

• Associate Degree in Logistics or related industry
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
