Nortrak’s Signaling Division, based in Chicago Heights, combines hydraulics and electronics in switch machines tailored for freight, transit, streetcar and high speed rail. The “Racor” line of manual switch stands has long been the industry standard. Fixed infrastructure asset monitoring systems provide early diagnosis of adjustment problems with switches machines, track circuits and other devices. Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of all mechanicals, hydraulics, electrical and CNC electronics on manufacturing machinery, material handling systems, cranes, forklifts, dust collection system, and the physical plant. Train operators on preventive maintenance. Maintain a work order system. Layout, installation, and startup of project work. Organization and maintenance of a spare parts inventory

Job Requirements
Basic Maintenance Knowledge
High School Graduate or GED
Maintenance Certification a Plus
