Concept Designer for Ladies Shoes

H&M is now looking for a driven and creative concept designer for our Ladies Shoe Department. By joining this great team you will have the opportunity to focus on the product as well as be responsible for the whole collection, from idea to final product. You will work closely together with the rest of the team to create the best product and collection for our customer in close collaboration with the H&M internal Press, On-line and Visual dpt's.

The position is based at the H&M Head Office in central Stockholm, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

• Set the visual goal, lead and plan the assortment on a concept level together with the section head
• Secure the best product (quality, details, colour, etc.)
• Coach and develop designers as individuals and in work method
• Overview and act upon how the concept's customer is affected by trends and the surrounding world
• Constantly follow up the assortment, the selling  and take necessary actions
• Push the creative process and follow up of the timeline together with the team

We believe you:

• Have a minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion or Shoe Design and at least 2 years’ work experience as a Senior Shoe Designer.
• Love to work with the Ladies shoes customer group
• Are a visionary with fashion & trend sense and with a passion for commercial ladies’ fashion
• Are a strong and independent leader who can delegate, motivate and inspire
• Have a strong drive for product development and a good sense for quality, proportion and details
• Are driven, used to take own initiatives, result oriented and have strong salesmanship
• Like a fast paced work environment
• Are able to travel
• Are fluent in English
• Are willing to learn Swedish
