University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research in the field of probability theory, with emphasis on random walks on graphs and groups.
• Independent teaching
• Education and training
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed subject-related Master's degree programme
• Excelent qualifications in stochastics/probability theory (e.g. Master thesis or publications)
• Please enclose to your application relevant courses, research seminars in the area of stochastics
• Experience in dealing with students
• Personal responsibility, ability to work in a team and willingness to communicate
• Ability to collaborate with researchers from applied disciplines
