AREA MANAGER TRAINEE f/m
based in one of our Area Offices: Vienna, Linz, Graz, Innsbruck, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Belgrade
Here’s your chance for a career out of the ordinary! We are searching for our Future Area Manager and this could be your first step in this direction!
As an Area Manager at H&M you are running a region in fast paced fashion retail, you secure that the stores of your area inspire customers to explore their personal style. You are responsible to set a strategy in line with country goals to maximise selling and profitability for an area. Together with the Area team, you support and lead up to 20 store teams to create the best shopping experiences in fashion retail. By acting in line with our values and being a role model, you contribute to H&M’s business success.As Area Manager Trainee you go through an individual trainee program and spend most of the time in our stores. You get to know the different roles in the store and all aspects of our business. Depending on your experience and training progress, this program may take up to one year.
Your Responsibilities:
· Selling
o Identify sales opportunities and implement strategies to increase the shopping experience in the stores of the area
o Secure that sales targets and company goals area reached
o Ensure and follow up direct and indirect customer service and stock level in all stores
· Team
o Manage and execute recruitment, training, development and succession planning for store and area team
o Support, lead and manage Area - and Store Teams to increase the overall result
o Ensure safety, security and administrative routines
· Profit
o Maximize profitability through a commercial focus in cooperation with store management and together with the area team.
o Supervise, plan, budget and cost follow-up
o Analyze and follow-up key KPI’s of the area and initiate actions to increase profit
