As a System Integration Engineer (m/f/d) you work closely with product teams and customer representatives to ensure that cross-product functions are smoothly integrated, well tested and released in time and in quality. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integration and testing of software solutions based on AVL's Instrumentation and Test Systems product portfolio.  

• Develop test design and test cases for system level integration and acceptance tests
• Perform exploratory testing
• Create, execute, and maintain automated software tests
• Report the test progress, test results as well as communicate findings effectively
• Carry out failure analyses and identify improvements
• Establish and maintain the digital twin of the productive customer environment
• Collaborate with globally distributed development teams
• Communicate with internal and external customers

YOUR PROFILE:

• A completed education (HTL, FH, University) in a technical field with strong software focus (SW Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Technology or similar)
• First practical experience in software / system testing (including internships)
• ISTQB  tester certification desirable
• Experience working in a DevOps based organization desirable
• Experience integrating and testing mechatronical systems desirable
• Good problem identification and solution abilities 
• Good cross-team collaboration an communication skills 
• Very good knowledge in English, both verbally and in writing

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €43.400,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
