Junior Legal Associate (m/f/d) in Wien

What we are looking for

A legal rookie who will be a team member of our external legal counsel.

Storyblok and RA Dr. Michael Denis Witvoet are looking for a legal newbie who loves to negotiate, is highly motivated to grow with a young company, and brings reliability and accuracy to the table.

In this role, we are looking for an attorney trainee who loves to analyze situations quickly and skillfully articulate a solution. You will work with our external legal counsel in Vienna and support Storyblok in growing internationally and solving legal challenges.

As a junior legal associate working with our attorney-at-law, you will be able to complete the years of education and gain the knowledge you need to meet the requirements for your bar exam. At Storyblok you will help the Sales, Partner, and Operations teams during negotiations, do research and basic legal work and find answers to legal questions.

What you will do when you join

• Be part of the redlining process of GTC, DPA, NDA, and other legal agreements
• Dive into the field of GDPR and make sure we meet all future regulatory requirements
• Negotiate contracts with different stakeholders
• Be a contact person to external legal partners to find answers to our questions
• Legal management and research and be the first point of contact for legal questions and topics
• Support the operations team throughout our expansion and going international

What you should bring to the table

• Law Degree from an Austrian university and completed court praxis
• High interest in the contract and IT law, as well as GDPR
• Excellent negotiation and English skills
• The ability to analyze the needs of different parties quickly and provide a solution
• Reliable and accurate working style, obsessed in detail
• High motivation to build something from scratch and rethink and rework existing processes
• An interest or understanding of web development or SaaS industry
