To strengthen our Tumor Immunoediting Lab, which focuses on the development of novel approaches to increase natural killer cell functionality for the treatment of childhood cancer, we are looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d) for mouse management and genotyping. We are seeking a student who will support our team by conducting genotyping experiments on provided mouse tissue. In this responsible role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working in a vibrant, international lab.
Your responsibilities
• Support mouse management and genotyping
• Independent execution of PCR experiments, gel electrophoresis and data interpretation
• Support the members of the research group in general lab management
• Be a part of ongoing research projects
Your profile
• Ongoing study in the field of molecular life sciences, biology or similar
• First work experience in the form of internships
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English (German not required)
• Proactive and reliable personality
• Independent working style
• Willingness to learn
