Job Description

At Tricentis, business unit CX Operations is the technical heart of the Global Support department and is the hub for all customer facing business applications for support- and communityportal.

We are dealing with high critical applications to ensure daily business, which are crucial tools for our success.

As a Junior developer for Business Applications at Tricentis, you will be responsible for developing, customizing and maintaining various parts of the applications like ServiceNow, Coveo etc..

Especially in projects you will act as a contributing team-member along with your colleagues to make sure that all requirements are met and implemented. Apart from that you will work on incoming bugs and requests which are created during daily business.

In addition to developing you will also be responsible for administrative tasks for our integrations in other rather internal business applications like Salesforce, Marketo, jira etc.

The time-ratio between your main tasks would be 50:50 – You will be working 50% of your time as junior developer for Business Applications and the other 50% doing administrative tasks in our various Business Applications.

For successfully developing, improving and working in the front- and backend of our Business Applications, it is a must have to have at least 1 year experience in:

• Understanding of the ways in which ServiceNow can be configured and customized and scripting within the tool – preferably in both ITSM and CSM Modules of ServiceNow.

• Knowledge in at least one OOP (Java, C#)

• Experience in JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, JSON

• Good understanding and experience in implementing Webservices with SOAP and REST

• Common knowledge in SQL

• Experience in developing frontends and have skills in SASS, HTML5, JQuery, JSP and experience at least with one Frontend Framework (Bootstrap)

• Experience in backend usage of at least one of the following Business Applications like Atlassian, Salesforce, Coveo, Marketo

• Furthermore, you know how to deal with common designs and architectural patterns such as MVC (model-view-controller) to keep the application business logic separated from presentation logic.

Ideally you will have experience and knowledge in these areas as well:

• Good technical understanding of server environments in perspective of security measurements and performance tuning

• Knowledge / Experience in Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 32.500 gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
