The Kearney Summer Trainee program is an outstanding introduction to the discipline of management consulting and is designed for students with work experience acquired during internships. The duration of an internship is 8 weeks.
Summer Trainees learn to apply the fundamentals of management consulting in order to identify, analyze and solve business problems across a wide range of industries. You are a full member of the consulting team and play an integral part in the projects to which you are assigned. As a Summer Trainee you develop models, perform complex analyses and work on research assignments both in the office and at client sites. Summer Trainees travel while on assignments, undertaking a broad range of activities. Summer Trainees are paired with Kearney consultants who serve as mentors, offer guidance and stay actively involved with the Summer Trainee and their project managers throughout the period of employment. At the end of your time as a Summer Trainee, you will receive a detailed evaluation of your performance and feedback from your project manager.

The position of Summer Trainee is open to students currently attending university Bachelor’s degree after third semester of study or attending a Master’s degree with more than 6 months left until graduation. You should have two to three relevant internship experiences within different companies.
For our DACH offices we require fluency in German.
We offer this position during the whole year.
