Excis compliance Ldt, a global IT Company based in the UK and has legal entities in over 40 countries arount the world, is looking for an IT Support Technician in Spittal an der Drau, Austria to reinforce our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. To provide technical support; answering support queries either onsite or via phone of e-mail
2. To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to IS Policies and procedures.
3. To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
4. To log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation.
5. Respond to inquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
6. Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
7. Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
8. To escalate more complex service issues to the relevant IT personnel.
9. Troubleshooting & Problem solving of workstation related problems
10. Maintaining Asset Register of all IT equipment in IS Workshop and Department
11. Implement, Managing and Maintaining Workstations 7/8/10
12. Implementing & Support of MS Office 2000-2013 products
13. Proficient in MAC support
14. Installation and Support of Network & Local Printers
15. Required to work long hours from time to time
16. Basic MS Active Sync & Blackberry knowledge
17. Setups of iPad, iPhone and Android devices
18. Ability to do remote support (tools will be provided)
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Diploma in IT or A + / N + certification
2. German and English speaker
